![]() ![]() Horrible Children & Spring4th present Space Station 2010 New Years Eve 12/31/09 9pm-8am Spring4th Center 728 Spring St. Atlanta, GA, 30308 C o n t r o l R o o m ![]() (Hard Trance) Los Angeles,CA Fresh Entertainment ![]() Austin Edwards, formerly known as Doublestaxxx, was first introduced to the Los Angeles rave scene in 1990. He was instantly mesmerized by the new and exciting sounds of the electronic music that was pulsating from the giant speaker walls. The music filled the air with a positive vibe that brought together people of all races, religions and social backgrounds dancing together in the name of peace, love and unity. It was something that he was uncontrollably drawn to. The entire underground culture grabbed hold of him and refused to let go. With an undeniable love for this new electronic music, it wasn't long before he learned to spin and started mixing together all of the old-school records that he had been collecting. As time went on electronic music evolved and expanded into many different genres and sub-genres. Naturally, so did his musical interests, tastes and mixing style. Over the last 15 years he's played everything from Old School Techno, Gabber & Hard Acid to Acid Techno & Acid Trance to Epic, Progressive & Uplifting Trance, to Hands Ups Vocal Trance, but for the past five years or so his main focus has been on Hard Trance, Tech-Trance and more recently Electro-Trance. His range of musical influences are vast and wide, spanning from the early sounds of Moby and The Prodigy to some of his current favorites, Sean Tyas, John O’Callaghan, Simon Patterson and Pierre Pienaar (aka P.H.A.T.T.). The old school techno played in the early nineties by local rave pioneers DJ Dan, DJ Trance (aka Jason Blakemore), Oscar the Grouch and Fester were a huge influence, but the early Hardcore & Hard Acid sounds of Ron D. Core played the biggest role in his decision to become a DJ! Other major influences include the techno played in the early-to-mid nineties by DJ's like Frankie Bones and Nigel Richards and the Acid Techno & Acid Trance played by Koo-kane, Chris Liberator and D.A.V.E. the Drummer, but his single biggest influence of all-time is, without a doubt, west coast trance legend Christopher Lawrence! In 2005, after many years of honing his skills as a DJ, Austin Edwards decided it was time to get serious about following his dream to become a DJ. He released his first demo under the alias “Doublestaxxx” and with an overwhelming response from listeners, became an over-night sensation in the Southern California rave scene. Within only a few months he started getting bookings right and left and by 2006 he was playing almost every local electronic dance music event, quickly becoming a crowd favorite! By 2009, he had become a fan-proclaimed local “legend” with die-hard fans in the thousands. The endless amount of comments on his myspace page and the fact that his online demos have been downloaded over a quarter million times in the last few years alone are a testament to his loyal following. In the past 5 years Austin Edwards has played along-side and opened for an almost endless list of the world's most popular DJ's, sharing the stage with artists such as Sean Tyas, Filo & Peri, Andy Moor, Dave Dresden, Alice Deejay, DJ Sammy, Frankie Bones and Nicholas Bennison, to name only a few. He’s played countless events in Southern California to crowds upwards of 5,000 people, as well as out-of-state gigs everywhere from Alaska to Atlanta, Georgia. He’s also been a resident DJ for some of the biggest and most successful event production companies in Southern California. For the past 4 years, he’s held one of the most sought-after residencies in the SoCal electronic dance music scene, proudly representing Fresh L.A. Entertainment (The masterminds behind the annual “Fresh Anniversary”, “Fresh Squeezed” and “Winterfresh” Festivals). Paul David (Drum n Bass) New York,NY Q.D.R.F./Duende ![]() Paul David's Drum n' Bass Odyssey began in Brixton England at Oscars, a One Nation venue, playing along side Shy FX, Friction, Heist, and DJ Rap just to name a few. After leaving England for the States he became a founding member of the Quick Dance Floor Reactionary Force, a devastating Crew that, with the help of Isis, Pan13, and Plus8, cover the entire spectrum of Drum n' Bass. Since his arrival on the scene at the age of fifteen he has traveled the world dropping dance floor Presha every inch of the way. Come ready to experience an epic mix of Drum n' Bass that is sure to burn up the dance floor and leave You screaming for more! Q.D.R.F. Conquest! Respect! Labyrinth (Psytrance) Greenville,SC Pangea/Pure Perception ![]() Labyrinth is a dj/producer/bassist representing Pangea Productions / Pure Perception Records, The Malah. He has been a musician most of his life playing the piano and bass guitar at a young age. In the summer of 1999 he was blown away by his first outdoor psy trance experience in the Appalachian mountains. Ever since, he has been djing and producing psychedelic, progressive, tribal, and minimal sounds. Giving much passion and energy into each mix, he tells a story and using the power of music to lift the mind, body, and spirit. Through music and art we can lift each other up and help each other realise that we are all connected and live in harmony with God, our Father, the Great Spirit, the Universal Consciousness. Along with Kameleon, he formed the collective Pangea Productions in 2000, and our record label Pure Perception Records in 2007. He also creates tribal psy progressive under the name 'Bioluminescense', and bouncy techno/tech house under the name 'Life N Limbo'. He has had the opportunity to play at many events across North America in Atlanta, Montreal, NYC, California, Asheville as well as playing the Arcadia Festival 2008 in France.
