Where classic hardcore breakbeat meets dnb (Jungle Fever vol. 1)

This was one of the most played-out discs in my collection from way-back-when I was living in New Orleans. It's labeled as 'Jungle Fever' but is much more like the very very end of the early hardcore breakbeat era melding into what was becoming drum & bass. The beats are very dnb-ish, but everything else feels different to me. Yes there is the ragga influence, but is very sparse compared to the other ragga-oriented mixes I've posted.

Both mixes are just great, but I've always been particularly fond of mix 2. And tracks 3, 7 & 9 on mix two are fuckin' meltdowns!! I could roll this thing up and either eat it, smoke it or fuck it. Yeah...I luvs it that much. :headbang:
