I was at my uncle's house, and both him and my dad were drunk, and my uncle wanted me to give my dad a ride home, and I told him "no, he shouldnt have gotten this drunk". And my uncle's ex girlfriend told me to go on home and they would make sure he would get home ok. They called his wife (my step-mom) to come get him, but my family is making me feel bad/guilty for not giving him a ride. I just cant stand being around my dad when he is as drunk as he was.

Don't let them pull you into the guilt game. Your father is his own man and should know and have the responsibility to not put him self into situations like that. Your father is not your child. I don't know how old your father is but if he does not know personal responsibility by now its not something hes going to learn and you cant teach it to him.

If you'd just take it in the ass from him like you do every other guy you know, then maybe he wouldn't have been so mad. I mean, how would you feel if you knew someone was doing something for everyone on the planet but you?

Did they ask you to give him a ride ?? If not it's their own damn fault for not asking.

Yes, my uncle asked me, but once you help a drunk person, no matter who it is, they will always expect it from you and will never learn self-control.

I would give my dad a ride home if he was drunk. But not if he were sober ;p Never seen him drunk. If he had to take a whiz on the side of the road, I would make sure to back up, putting him in the headlights and start blowing the horn. No mercy b/c he is my dad.
drunks are so annoying!!!

How does it feel to know you are standing by and watching your father die form a horrible "disease"? You fill good about it? You blame him for your need to place 8========D in your :moon: ?
Alcoholism is a horrible way to go. But little c0(k su(kerz like you like to make fathers suffer tell its to late then go on a 30 state guy effing rampage and get AIDS and blame your father.

Honestly, I've never seen my parents drunk, and I won't ever let my kids see me drunk, don't want to destroy that image thing :) I'm sorry you were even put into that position :( He's an adult and should be able to think for himself and maybe think about how getting drunk made his daughter feel :(

If your dad's not shooting smack in your passenger seat, I don't see what the big deal is. Give the old man a lift! I used to have to give my pops rides around town when he was spun off his rocker... didn't scar me any :twitch:

I wish I had a mom or a dad alive today. I would love to drive them around just one more time.
OP:
Think about that next time a family member needs help. I'm sure raising a pink cream puff like you has not been a bed of roses for your father ether. Take a long look in the mirror next time you wonder why your father is drinking himself to death.

actually being a proper man has nothing to do with sexual preference and what's swinging between his legs. i know of a few bitch ass dudes. being a man means standing alone and standing up for something you believe in regardless what the cost.
