How do you get gamecube games to work on the wii? It will load to the load screen but nothing from that point. Is it possible?

I want to play re4 on the wii.

hm, i haven't had any troubles so far, but like dr00 said, you sure you have everything set up properly?

we bought some second hand dance mats for dance dance revolution that were gamecube controllers, and boy if that didn't take 20 minutes to get them to work...I still don't know what the hell I did to get them working

No I got it to the load screen by folding the disk in half and forcing it in with a hammer.

No I dont have a mem card. do I need a wii gamecube controller or can I use my old GC controller? be4 I go to BB to get a mem card?.

You can plug your old gamecube controllers in on top of your wii, there is also the two slots for mem cards on top aswell. If you haven't seen them slots they are hidden under a pull up cover.

Are you trying to play the first verison of RE:4 or the wii remake?

You'll need your old GC controller then. Make sure you have em plugged in when you boot the game up. I can't remember or not if it wouldn't recognize the controller if you didn't do that or not. Its been awhile since I played with the GC controller after beating Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
