So the makers of Stella Artois and Beck's may take over teh Budweiser/Michelob swill.. wtf?

This is like the biggest brewery in the US, possibly owned by a belgian beer co.? eff.

iiiiinteresting.

I remember in my economics class, there's a formula they use to determine whether or not a company can be bought out. Basically to prevent monopolistic corporations from forming. I'm surprised that any company that can afford to do this actually can do it.

but I didn't read the whole article, so maybe it goes into that.

Truth. I really don't have a problem with Bud, surely it isn't the most gourmet of beers. But it's not a BAD beer imo. I'm a major fan of dark Belgian beer myself, but you can't drink that shit all the time.

i'm pretty sure miller was bought out a few years by an international company... i wonder why this is so much bigger in the news than that. or maybe it's because i'm actually waking up in the morning to watch the news:D
