Not to mention that she had been living with me rent free for the past 5 months also.
But in all reality it's that stigma where you villify the person you broke up with to justify the break up. It's a lot easier to breakup with someone who hasn't done anything to you and feel good about it if you feel they've done something wrong to you, even if it is a crazy made up reason (which I've not done anything wrong to her by the way). But that's just how it goes.
