hey guys....been quite awhile...wonder whos still around...i've gone coastal and moved to the beaches of the outer banks of nc...yeah, life on a sandbar...gotta love it!! just wanted to say high to some great friends here!

i've lived in macon co. nc for nearly 25 years.....the other end of the state sounded great...so here we are,we moved here right before i turned 40 in sept, i love it and i'm making much better money here,tho it takes it to live here.o how i do miss atl. tho *sigh* it's my day off so i'm planning on hitting the beach today...get some sun and relaxation.

I was surfing on Kings Beach near Santa Cruz surfing with some buddies the summer in between 8-9 grade. We were having a good time. If you have ever been to Kings Beach its WICKED! huge swells and rip currents the whole beach.

Anyways me and my girl friend at the time were writing past the break doing it like they do on the discovery channel. when a shark about 8-10 feet long and FAT broke the water about 2 feet from us. THAT WAS the hottest make jebus mad at you time I have ever had!

whoa....theres been rumours floating round town here of a bull shark in the harbour...yeah, the harbour where i'm at. friend of mine claims her family were boating and they threw some gnawed chicken bones in the canal and they saw a huge bull shark just pop out of nowhere and eat those bones. back in november, me and kyle and booger saw a beached great white.....20 foot long, no kidding.

okay...i got owned by the ocean yesterday...me n' my lil cookie crumb were snorkeling and we decided to go in and eat a pbj....so the waves were crashing closer together and harder by the time we came in....we came up and got nailed by a big ass wave...took our snorkel gear and tossed us around like ragdolls...i almost lost my bottoms....coming up from that, we were a lil dizzy and another massie shorebreaker took us down again! I came up and my top was everywhere but where it needed to be...ppl were like...oh man, you guys ok? the sea claimed it's treasures... 200 bucks in decent snorkel gear ...and some of my pride....like i've always said....2 things you dont trust...fire and water. anyways,i just got in from walking the shore to see if the ocean may have barfed up any piece of our gear...no suck luck....beautiful sunrise though. this concludes todays chapter of LIFE ON A SANDBAR...stayed tuned...
