Dash Productions is proud to present Wired08, The Athens Dance Music Festival. Part of the AthFest Summer Music and Arts Festival, This annual showcase features some of the finest DJs in the state at a twelve-hour event,. Wired has been Athens' premiere electronic music event, attracting crowds from all over the state. This year, we celebrate our sixth Wired with over twenty artists on two stages, representing house, trance, break beat, hip-hop, drum and bass, electro, down tempo, and dub step, this is the premier event to enjoy all types of dance music under the sun and the stars. From chill atmospheres to dance-floor-ripping beats, there will be a tempo for every mood. This years event will be hosted at club Blur, A newly remodeled warehouse style club right near all the action of the Athfest mainstage. New sound, new lights, a kickin’ air conditioner, and a posh new club feel. Come out early and enjoy special downtempo and dubstep sets by some of your favorite dj’s. There will be live artwork on the main stage by Josh Stainthorp. There will be re-entry throughout the event, so you can go and enjoy the Athens Music and Arts festivities downtown, catch one of the hundreds of bands performing in town, or eat at one of the many local restaurants. As always, A special thanks to The Flagpole and Athfest for their continuing and overwhelming support of Dash Productions, Wired, and the Athens music scene.
