but me thinks it might not be the best idea i've ever had



and why is it that my friends lately prefer cheap beer over good beer... besides the fact that it is cheap... even when im buying.. i just dont get it...

Tomorrow will be two weeks since my brother and I bottled our beer. We tried one last weekend and it was still a little cidery (takes about 4 weeks being bottled before that goes away) but it tasted awesome! It is dark, a little sweet, and REALLY smooth. Also, it is somewhere between 6% and 9%. Brother and I split the first bottle and before we opened the other two, we could feel it. AWESOME!!

It's awesome! Right now it is still a bit cidery, but great. Smooth and strong. Kind of has a melon aftertaste that I think will go away once it has been bottled for a couple more weeks.

Dark amber color like New Castle, but a sweeter taste.

Now I want to start trying to make some with fruit extracts and junk. :cool:
