i have sympathy for people who are homeless and really have something wrong with them opposed to the bums that just got addicted to crack and now they are living on the streets.


i think in L5P there was this homeless man with no legs ina wheelchair and he looked really old...i gave him some spare change...but the people who could actually do something.....i dont.

do you know what i would like to see just fucking ONCE? i'd like to see somebody actually help a bum instead of griping. fuck a handful of change. everyone's got 'such important things to do' that they keep on driving or pretend the bum's not there. if they're such a fucking nuisance to society, why not attempt to give them a leg up so they can become upstanding members of society like yourself. if they're so bad, do something about it and shut you're fucking mouth.

It seems a trend for a lot of "party kids" to also hold the title of "vagrant". They will go and crash at a differet persons house instead of just going the fuck home. It makes you wonder if they even have one.

Yeah, it gets a bit annoying.

Are things that bad? If you stop wasting what money you have on drugs and you might be able to get a place of your own instead of leaching off of everyone else. Don't be so proud that you can't go back to your "mommy and daddy". Or do you just not want to go back because they might actually require you to be responsible? ... or maybe they don't want you back because they are ashamed of you and you are an embarassment upon the family?

I guess it takes some people too long to grow the fuck up and realize life isn't some never ending party.

Yeah, I'll give some a bit of change. But on the other end of the spectrum, there are some completely thoughtless people out there. I was waiting for Doug to come pick me up after class one day, and a woman holding a dollar bill asks me if I have change for a dollar so she can put money in the parking meter. I only had 15 cents, but I gave it to her. She asked quite a few other people, and they all said no, without taking a second to look or think. I'm sorry, but that's fucking bullshit. They couldn't take the time to check their pockets to help this woman, who wasn't even trying to take their money. She had a fucking dollar in her hand.

On the other hand, I'm tired of giving money to the bums who sit on the same corner every day. There was this overweight woman who sat outside the GA State Marta station asking for money so she could get food, usually smoking a cigarette and eating a McDonald's hamburger. Maybe she should stop buying cigarettes so she can eat better food.

On a side note, since someone mentioned crackheads, while I was waiting at a red light the other day, a man walked up to the corner, took off his hat, and started talking to it. It looked like he was having a heated discussion. Then he put his hat back on and kept walking.
