i say wait til you get back in the states to buy any. the sun & heat will warp them, plus the sand will kill it if it gets on & stuck in the grooves. plus, the trip back, the records might get broken.

regardless, here's some international dnb record sites for ya:

www.dnb.co.uk (http://www.dnb.co.uk/)
www.juno.co.uk (http://www.juno.co.uk/)
www.redeyerecords.co.uk (http://www.redeyerecords.co.uk/)

best of luck to over there man, be safe!:D

If you have time to spin in Baghdad, something ain't right...

I completely agree with Section 8, though.
You really don't want anything funky happening to your wax.

Yes, there is something wrong, but that doesn't have alot to do with me having time to spin. I've got some free time here and there, what better place is there to learn new things, where you're isolated from " normal " life, besides prison I guess..... Nibb High football Rules !

I guess if you fuck up other people's wax,

you can learn what not to do with your own.

Or whatever.

lol, that'd be a dick move on my part, but compelling nonetheless, I'm only ordering maybe $200 worth of vinyl to play with, it's not so dusty here in Baghdad and I stay in a new trailer, which isn't so bad, except the one 3 down from me ( 100 ft ) got hit with some mortar shrapnel the other day, that shit was loud too, anywho.... if anyone sees DVD tell him - jtgluck - from Augusta says what's up and I'm finally gonna start spinnin'

that's not too bad & i see what you're saying. i wasn't saying to not care if you fuck his records up (such as scratching one), just that i figured the environment would fuck up the records more that you, yourself would.

but i definitely understand you, i'm pretty sure any of those sites will ship there.

i'll tell Dave next time i see him!:D

Alright, thanx man ;) He's the one who gave me the most advice on buying some tables in the first place, although he told me if I was gonna do it to go ahead and buy some nice tables ( technics ) and a good mixer, even though I'm not doing that right away, I figure it's better than nothing. ~ LeoSun

i did the same thing - i started buying records, then bought tables later.

best of luck to you over there man!:)

While we're on the subject, does anybody here besides Brio order from Vinyladdiction.co.uk? He says he's had very few problems with them, but I've yet to have an order go through correctly. There's always some weird shit that happens before I can get anything. *grumble*

why do you keep ordering from there if they keep screwing it up?
