seems that very few people in Atlanta like Ragga and battle jungle... for me thats the shit. props to tester for the lighta remix using his great grammas music box. everyones all up on teck dnb but you got to have a lil flavor it was cool in atlanta when i was there but everynight it was the same tracks being played over and over again.. someone step up and play a diff format of jungle. if i still lived there i would be pushin for it.

seems that very few people in Atlanta like Ragga and battle jungle... yeah, it's not my thing. i like some old ragga, but can't handle a whole night the new stuff. (IMO) the newer sounds of it just sound like it lost it's soul to me....
although i will say Trilogy Sound can def kill...
BTW - Ninjakid busts out some ragga, along with Jubei. (there's probably more, i'm just too tired right now)
also, not everyone here in ATL spins nothing but techy stuff. cause i definitely wouldn't consider my style techy, although i will throw a few techy tracks into each set.
but everynight it was the same tracks being played over and over again..what events did you go to that you heard the same songs over & over?

I like the Mashed Up Sound...Its hard to break to and its difficult to mix and blend proper but its challenging...the Trilogy Crew most definately hold down the ragga stronghold...but you bring the styles of Congo Natty Ras Azad Bullethead and so on and so forth and your in for a rinse

Section 8 i used to live in atlanta bout 2-3 years ago and back then all the locals played the same music... i.e. teck itch bad company etc.. so all you got was the same musical influences and many time the same big tunes played over and over all night.

regardless, the dnb scene in ATL has changed a lot in the past 2-3 years.
but i will agree with your original statement that there aren't alot of ragga dj's here.
I still play a lot or ragga and oldskool jungle
