Since the beloved Chamber will be closing this saturday after many, many years, 99X had Maggie & Rubberella on the morning show torturing Fat Kid (one of the morning guys). I'm sure Halloween was off the chain. That's always been one of my favorite holidays. Yeah, the Underground looks dubious. I don't think the other tenants at the Underground will take too kindly to having a fetish club for a neighbor.

actually its not that. Its just the fact that normal ppl will start popping in more and more. this was really looked down upon by the regulars there, simply the fact that the(buckhead crowd) sticks out like a sore thumb and they just fucking stand there on the dance floor drunk acting like they know what the fuck is going on. Get off the fucking dance floor with all that stupid acting bullshit! you probably know what i mean. bouncing there ass like thier listening to hip hop when its actually industrial. I beleive alot of the regulars well not go to the "new" chamber after its there for a while.

True, the die hards have been complaining that tourists are ruining their scene for a long time. Sure, if the crowd has too many people that are just playing at something that seems dangerous it will (and has gotten) more watered down and the level of things that are acceptable will decline making the whole thing more mainstream. On the other hand, everyone has to find their scene somehow. The number of tourists also reflects the fact that BDS&M and other fetishes are more acceptable now than they ever have been in this country. Ah hell, I'm just throwing around a bunch of thoughts. I agree with you though, I doubt the new club will have nearly the flavor. I've never been to Club Kink but from what I understand it's alive and well isn't it?

yes, trapeze and risque is doing well also. I'll be honest i was going to the chamber everyweekend for the past 2 yrs(because i was burned out on parties), and i hardly saw any tourist twice. Yes picked alot up on the way but it just got outta hand! But i understand one reason why they did this is to put some spice in their life, but hey i bet they still went to church the next morning. lol

Your probably right, I don't think people will feel comfortable enough to be as uninhibited as they were on Cheshire Bridge Rd. The thing is the people that loved The Chamber still need a place to party. Either the overflow will wind up at Kink or Trapeze or Risque or somewhere else will step up to fill the void. Is it possible to get into Trapeze or Risque w/out a membership or invite? Don't they admit only couples?

trapeze you dont have to have a membership for but risque you do. men can come to risque by invite only! and its 50 bucks a pop! I hope some of the DJ's from the chamber continue on at the new one.

Caz10 (Eric) is a friend of mine. He also does every Thurs. @ The Masquerade, so since he works for the company it seems likely that he'll be at the new club too although not even he knows for sure what's going on there. He also works closesly w/ Secret Room and I know he's going to continue spinning Sat. at the Masquerade for them.
