It can cause indometreosis (sp?)scar tissue in the uterus - very painful esp. during "that week"...
the whole sex in water thing can cause the water to get into the uterus and cause infections and even infertility.
the only thing that won't wash away in water would be an oil based lube. and a word to the wise... if it doesn't come off in the water it won't wash out so easy either.
