For any of you people into software style producing and haven't checked it out yet, you need to go to www.buzzmachines.com (http://www.buzzmachines.com). This is the most incredible open source piece of software I've seen yet. I have found all sorts of nice softsynths in the program (very nice Roland 303 synths, of which I think they have at least 5 models).
Just got it a few days ago and thought you guys should jump in on it.

wow... good find!!!
I used to produce totally with buzz. It is a really good program, just has an almost vertical learning curve.

are you talking about the buzz generator in fruity loops?
nah, buzz is a "tracker", which is basically a sequencer that contains a bunch of digital sound generators and effets that are coded in DSP. It is basically an all in one package that is very CPU friendly because it lacks a hardcore GUI. It is pretty hard to use because you basically program in values for all the parameters by entering hexidecimal.

Yeah, Moka is right. It's got a crazy learning curve, but also has some very nice generators and effects. It gets old programming values all the time though, I'll probably just get back to the ole fruity loops.
