Hi, I'd like to interview for this position. Yes, this same one that I was laid off from six months ago. What are my qualifications? Well, besides the length of time I have been with the company, I woud like to include the fact that I did this same job, for this company, for three years. Sure! Thanks for your time! I'm looking forward to the second interview.

There's no policy here anymore. There's nothing here but empty corporate bullshit. I hate it here. I hope they fire me. Today or something. I think I should go home sick.

Almost the same thing happened with me a few years back....

Interviewer: I see you worked at Chicago's and your manager at BitterEnd is Lisa...I worked at Chicago's and trained with Lisa how is she(Hint one I went through the same training program the manager of O'Charleys went through)

Interviewer: Im sorry your not trained enough to work here.....

Me: Guess that speaks volumes for both of us then...fucking dumbshit

im not sure what they lied about tho... did they tell you that you wouldnt get a second interview? because if they did it sounds like they were honest. Also... just because you were laid off from that position doesnt make you automatically qualified to take the position again. In fact, if they let you go from that position once already ...what makes you think they would want you back for it? Im not tryin to cut on you...but just keeping an objective outlook. Also...is it the SAME position?....or is it in a different skill set? (BB, saves, etc.) anyways...just wondering.

she was laid off, not fired. there is a big difference. little tip to get even if your mean enough.


20 bottles of shaving cream
little bit of dry ice and a cooler.

let the cans freeze in cooler with dry ice, then the metal can will be so brittle you can literally peel it away from the frozen block of shaving cream inside.

throw said frozen blocks of shaving cream in car of person you hate, come day time, the sun will heat them up and the block of cream will melt than procede to expand and expand. when the door of the car opens it will look a like a washing machine with a whole fuckin box of soap dumped in it.
and it is pretty hard to get 20 cans worth of shaving cream out of a car.

did i say fired?...nope. All I was saying is that while SOMETIMES it may be easy to give the job to someone that was laid off in the past (due to the fact they have experiance), on the other side of the coin you have to consider why the person was let go. Sometimes people are laid off because there were to many people doing the same job and they keep the cream of the crop, and let the others go.

Ecko, you know why I was laid off. They eliminated just about every trainer position across the country... And the other trainer had another skillset that I didn't have. They opened up a new position in a different department... It's more in depth than this and I don't want to go into all the details. But if you want to know they whole story, call me and I'll tell you.
