umm this thread is about HOOD PIERCINGS.

btw, dear bob dole, the definition of the word slut, according to the Merriam-Webster dictionary is

: a promiscuous woman; especially : PROSTITUTE.

having a hood piercing, especially being that it is a very private piercing for certain eyes only, does not allude to promiscuity. in my opinion it only expresses a desire for heightened sexual pleasure, or perhaps to decorate or adorn a part of your body you already find attractive. there is nothing at all slutty about that.

stop generalizing. that is where hatreds such as racism, sexism, and other discriminations stem from.

also, it doesn't hurt...it's a quick pinch. it doesn't hurt afterward at all either. and it's very easy to clean. just like the piercer told me "just wash your ass...keep yourself clean." LOL . it definitely increased my pleasure to clitoral stimulation. i switched my jewelry yesterday to a bigger ball on the end and now i have the whole orgasm while walking thing. it's GREAT! :D

Wow. Some pretty intense feelings about the subject.

I just wanted to bring up the point that sexual enhancement isn't the only reason for getting one's hood pierced. There are many reasons. Obviously, that's a pretty big reason for a good portion of those that get it done. And it was one of the reasons for me. But the biggest reason I got it done was for the empowerment it gave me. Not just as a woman, but as a person. It was something I'd always wanted to do, but was scared. This past summer I went through a period of time where my confidence was boosted immensely and I got it done as a reminder of the summer and of the great person I am. Not better than anyone else, but just as good. This may sound ridiculous to some of you, but it doesn't matter. I did it for me. And I love it!!

And, also for me, it "hurt" for maybe one second and was fine after that. Also, as far as cleaning goes, my piercer gave me a sea salt spray which worked very well and told me that piercings in that area are pretty much self-cleaned.

I went to an all women staffed piercing/tattoo place in Asheville, NC, that was great. If anyone in that area is interested, let me know and I'll give you the info.
