I'm having trouble with the redrum machine in Reason 2.5
It isn't showing up in the sequencer window, and I can't figure out how to switch between the different drum patterns I program.
Anybody pretty knowledgeable on this subject?
Thanks in advance

right click on the reddrum and then click add to track. this will add your hits to the sequencer.
also while looking at the sequencer click the drum path tab. this will allow u to draw in your patterns. a1, a2, etc...

Right click anywhere on the redrum machine?
When I do this, it has the option "copy pattern to track", but that option is greyed out.
Also, any idea how to just click in note values and tones in the sequencer? I suck at keyboard.
Thanks:banana:

Hmmm. When you create a Redrum it should create a sequencer track down at the bottom left. Click on that to highlight it and then look for that yellow button to the right that says drum lane when you drag the mouse over it. (I think, I'm not sitting infront of my production machine right now so I'm trying to visualize it) When you click on it it should bring up a grid which is called a step sequencer. Basically, on the left, listed vertically, is all the drum samples you have loaded into Redrum. Horizontally, the grid is broken down into 16th notes (be default, you can change this). With the pencil tool you can fill in your drums like that. Hope that helped. :headbang:
