Well I am thinking about buying Numark Axis 8 Digital Turntables are those any good?

buy Technics, nothing else will match up. (except maybe those Vestax ones)

plus, 99% of all clubs have Technics, so why practice on something different? don't skimp out on Tech's because of their price, the extra money is def worth it, especially if you are comparing it to a belt driven table.

Technics have been the industry standard for what, 25 years now? Nothing complicated about their formula, just quality parts. Can't fuck with that.

Thats cool, I just dont have a lot of money to mess with, so I am looking for good but possibly cheap hardware.

technics are of course the best but not all of us got loot for that. im still rockin the stanton str8-80's and they are workin fine. i havent had any problems with them yet. the pick-up on them isn't the best but i saved lots of money getting them

dude - pay the extra cash & buy technics. trust me, tech 2's aren't even that expensive anymore.

trust me, if you buy something else, you'll forever wish you paid teh extra money. my frind who has some numark tables is still waiting to buy techs & this has been going on for a few years now.

never go cheap on needles or tables...

I have techs and would advise getting them as well but...

There is one possible advantage to buying crappy tables. A friend of mine learned on a pair of the worst tables I've ever seen. They were blue plastic belt drive nu-marks. If you can mix on those you can mix on ANYTHING. Plus, when he gets on techs, he tears it up nice. Since the platters were so wabbly he learned to beat match with just pitch controll instead of manually "joging" the record occationally (A habbit I'm having a hard time trying to break after doing it for 2 1/2 years ). So. Getting crappy tables could have advantages.

dude, technics. All the way. you know what you should do, is look on ebay, they're alllllll over the place and you can find some good cheap shit on ebay, i think THAT would be your best bet if you want some phat technics that will last you a lifetime...
