Love is not a feeling, it is simply a choice. Love is a committment that one makes and when you make that committment you're telling that special one that you accept all of them for who they are or aren't. Most people say "I love you" in hopes that the other person will say it back. I don't think people really are lieing when they say it, they may just be confusing love with infatuation.

I think the biggest thing I've learned in relationships is you have to EXPECT NOTHING and APPRECIATE EVERYTHING.

Love is a result of having feelings for someone. Love itself is not a feeling. If I'm attracted to someone and have a feeling of desire and affection for someone then I can make the choice to "love" her.
