I was curious, cause me and a friend were talking about this recently.

How many people consider another person's personal scent an aspect of their attractiveness? I dont' mean the cologne or perfume they wear, but the way they smell. I've noticed personally, that a handful of girls I've dated had a subtle scent that would make them even sexier to me.

I only notice the soap smell or the cologne that my boyfriend has put on. If I start to smell any other smell I tell them to take a shower.

yo, the smell, well it all depends.... some poeples "smell" of anykind is just gross so hjose people STAY AWAY... but good smelling people.... turn on... so yes goodness smelling is a turn on.

I totally know what you're talking about. Like a natural body odor....not nasty B.O. Everyone has their own scent. Isn't it scientifically proven that someone can be attracted to another person's "odor" anyway?? Makes sense. We're still animals.

That's exactly what I was talking about. Yeah, there is scientific evidence of that. There's a theory that it's nature's way of controlling pairing so that the right genes get mixed. Of course, there's little evidence to support that.

weather it be natural or artificial a girl that doesnt have a GOOD smell turns me off. If they dont have a smell at all... still a turn off.

But yeah, if a guy's natural smell is good and I'm attracted to him, it makes him that much more sexy. Or if I smell my man's scent when he's not around, like on a shirt of his or something, it makes me go nuts thinkin about him. Pheremones are a wonderful thing :banana2:

It has a HUGE importance of the attractiveness of a guy or girl. I wouldn't ever date or be friends with someone that was stanky.

It's definitely really important. My b/f and I love each other's natural smell and that's how it should be. Psychology teaches u that pheremones do have a bearing on human behavior and compatability. If u like each other's smell then ur chemically compatible and the best match to procreate and stuff, to make the better "genetically-fit" baby. Anywayz, it's interesting to me and i do hold it in high importance.....plus the sex's better, hehe.
