What are some of the first things to buy?

What are some of tha first things to buy when starting a "hardware" based studio. Anyone work alot w/hardware???

If I had a platinum card I'd go buy a really dope pc with a delta 44 sound card. Then I'd get an Access Virus C, a Novation Bass station, dynaudio BM6A reference monitors, the biggest Moog I could find and a Fender Rhodes. Oh yeah, can't forget the Roland V-drums!

Get a good sampler, E-mu preferably.
