"Moonshine Creative Media and Purple Eye Entertainment are pleased to announce that international superstar DJ Ferry Corsten recorded the next installment of Moonshine Music's "Mixed Live" series at LA super club, Spundae last Saturday night, April 19th.

The album, titled "Mixed Live: Ferry Corsten: Spundae Los Angeles," includes a DVD with the 5.1 Dolby(tm) Digital Surround Sound version of the mix, a mini documentary on Ferry Corsten as well as footage of him mixing live. The album is set for a July release in the USA.

Corsten, a long time superstar in Europe and the Far East for several years, has been touring the US regularly. He is recognized as one of the worlds leading Trance DJs. He is also a successful artist and producer, with a string of hit singles under the monikers, System F, Gouryella and Ferry Corsten. Since the release of his mix CDs GlobalTransemissions 01 (2001) and 02 along with his enormous single "Punk" (both 2002) his popularity, in the US especially, has soared.

Moonshine, America's premier independent electronic music company, is the first label to release live DJ mixes in 5.1 Dolby(tm) Digital Surround Sound. Previous artists to use the Mixed Live 5.1 format include: UK Superstar DJ Tall Paul, America's premier rave DJ, Donald Glaude, Moonshine in-house producer and popular American DJ Dave Aude' and Florida's Bass Queen, Baby Anne.

About the Recording

The Mixed Live series records superstar DJ sets, live at clubs and events around the world. Previous installments have included Carl Cox, Donald Glaude and AK1200. Each set is recorded live on multiple channels, in one take, with microphones placed around the dance floor to capture crowd reaction. The combined result is mixed to 5.1 channels for an amazing "you are in the club" result.
