Suggestion: Quick PM Reply

hey brian. i'd suggest adding this. its nice...just as handy as the Quick Reply Box. i added it on mine and so far, no issues with people bitching...most seem to like it.

yes, i've been spending a few hours looking for some hacks :)

Eh... Not a bad idea, but I think that's letting everyone be just a little too lazy. Personally I think it's good for threads, but not really for PMs. Hell, if enough people really wanted it though I could add it...

I like the idea of a quick reply box, I thought that's what the Pm was originally before I started trying things out.

ones called IM's (its kinda like PM's, only you can hit enter, and it sends it automaticly)

and the others called a CHATROOM, its kinda like a messageboard, only its an orgy of people in one thread...w/ nowhere to run

Oh yeah...clicking on those two or three links to get me to the place where I can send PM's is just SO terribly agonizing. Can you install a computer chip in my head and have it so when everytime I blink ONLY my right eye 7 times in a row, a PM will be sent to my person of choosing with whatever thoughts I am thinking at that very moment?? :twitch:

However, my right index finger clicking the mouse every so often doesn't tire out that easily. I think I'll live. :D

mixie and deca seem to have the idea wrong (atleast i gather that from their posts). this isnt a Quick PM hack but rather a Quick PM Reply. example, you are reading a PM. there is a message box at the bottom with the PM already in the [quote] tags and Re: Title as the title and the username filled in.

what if tigga added a smilies thingie next to the Quick Reply box? its fairly simple to do. i will go add one to my forum and show you what it looks like.
