Quick Reply Box [Archive]

I added a new thing called a "Quick Reply Box" on here. Now you'll see a new box where you can quickly add a reply at the bottom of every thread. That's something that's on a couple of other sites I post on and use a lot, so I figured I'd add it here as well. :)

I love the quick reply box, I don't think I'll ever forget about it-it keeps me out of trouble @ work by not having to go to so many different pages to post! :D

How can u possibly do that this is the best idea since the remote control. Do u forget u have the "channel changer" in ur hand and get up, walk to the tv, and switch channels then sit back down.

tigga, if you want to setup the smilies on quick reply, i set it up on my board and it took a little extra step than what vb.org gave. the way they have it leaves the inset'd table style rather than making it normal, so you actually need to go in and edit the smilies template (vbcode_smilies and vbcode_smilies_getmore) and remove the inset table decoration/style it has on the <td> tags. i also removed 'Smilies' and all that. it will affect the table for normal posts and replies, but anyhow...

if you want to do it, hit me up - i made an install stepbystep txt file for it.
