Most local talent you dont BUY their CDs....they are demos to be given away for FREE.

Seeing how it would be illegal for the majority of locals in this area to sell their demo's, I would just ask them for one...About everyone of the dj's on this board will flat out send you a cd without question...In short, just ask...Where would you like me to send you a cd??? Email me here for a promo... (lilcow@yahoo.com)

hey you all! thanks for the responses, i was going to email you all, but the server was down or something, so if your sending it through snail mail here you go:
David DeAvila
1066 Regency Park Drive
Braselton, GA, 30517

and hey, another question(which will probably get shot down) i am going to be buying some turntables in the next couple of months, but i have to buy a car first, would anyone be willing to show me some stuff, one girl said she would show me a little, but anybody else' help is also greatly apreciated!
[or is that like taboo to show another person how to spin??]

thanks lots,

DJ Dax and MC Arion are selling thier cd's for a bargain price of $19.99.....plus shipping and handling

or, you can just ask very nicely and get it for free

and as far as asking people to show you how to spin, I am not the most seasoned artist but a major part of the scene is showing respect and doing what you can to help everyone out......if a veteran DJ sees a newcomer that wants to come up, he/she should help em out in any way that they can...afterall, everybody had to learn from somebody, right?

Being an mc, I know that i have received a tremendous amount of help from a few of my locals, they know who they are....if you are willing to work hard and truly love the music for the right reasons, then the established local talent will show you love....

I do know that at satelite and rewind they do have mix tapes and CD's for some local djs, most of them are djs who spin for sat or rewind but i found a Roll X (Rick Sierra) mix tape down at satelite and it was the shit. That was awhile ago but i'm sure they still have something down there. Just so you know they are on the strip in little five points. I'm sure alot of people you know know where that is if you dont.

Thx
