Ive been into tech house for a while now, but i dont really know any of the producers/labels. I like hard techhouse, not necissarilly with a typical 4/4 beat... i guess more on the tech side than on the house side. I've liked a lot of stuff off of the "theory" label. Any suggestions? Any good tech house cd's out?

I have the perfect solution for you...
J-Luv...................................
Chris Leclair...........................
These gents have been playing tech house for as long as I can remember...Chris is very easy to get a hold of...You can contact him at Dixie Sound Works in Alpharetta...Give him a call and ask him his opinion on tech house...He might be able to steer you in the way you want to go...

J-luv is for the weak.
Give me DJ Rush and Ken Ishii on a pissed off friday night, so I can vent. I need that.

I would like to see you say that to J's face...You really need to work on that big mouth getting you into trouble...
HOWEVER (stop the Earth's rotation  ), I do agree with you on Rush and Ken...The only thing is that they play mainly techno, not techno house...They may throw a couple of tech house tracks in their sets, but it is mainly hardfloor, disemboweling, techno that is not for the weak...

Tech house was done very well by the caffiene crew back in the day. Check out ADAM X and Heather Hart mixes and some older Frankie bones. Maybe some of DJ Micros older stuff. I thought tech house was dead pretty much. It seems to have kind of merged with techno in MOST sets. If anyone knows some good cds/live sets with good NEW tech house, hit me up on aim: DatSmurfBoy
thx.
